BEST Peated (peat) is smoked over an open fire using the highest quality peat. The smoke imparts a strong, smoky, phenolic flavor that is reflected in the malt aroma. Breweries can use this malt up to 100% in the grist. Depending on the composition and intensity of the grist, this malt creates light to intense peaty aromas and earthy flavors. It is made from high-quality summer barley. BEST Peated (peat) complies with the regulations according to the German beer purity law "Reinheitsgebot".
