Crisp is the largest buyer of Maris Otter barley, and some of their farmers have been growing it since its first harvest in 1965.
Awarded by both home and commercial breweries for its depth of flavor, it also finds its home in malt whiskies in the UK, Europe, and the emerging
American single malt category. This version, like other traditional grains, is malted and gently roasted for three days in our natural airflow kiln, giving it
a deeper flavor than conventionally roasted Maris.
