BEST Red X® (red) is a malt that has become synonymous with red-colored beers. As it can be used in the grist up to 100%, there is no need to combine it with other malts. Due to its exceptional reliability in processing and optimal processability, BEST Red X® (red) malt can be used to produce consistently fiery beers with intense red shades. The malt was created for beers of 12 °P. To maintain the red color in stronger beers, some of the BEST Pilsen Malt should be added to the grist for higher wort density. BEST Red X® (red) meets the regulations according to the German purity law "Reinheitsgebot".
