Kazbek Hops (Czech Republic)
Product detailed description
The aromatic profile of the Kazbek hop is similar to Saaz, but more intense. It often has a dominant citrus note, described as a spicy lemon or grapefruit. Underlying herbal and earthy tones of lemon balm and mint give Kazbek a noble hop character. The hop adds a clean bitterness. It is ideal for cold hopping, during which floral and fruity notes emerge in the beer after 2 to 4 days.
Among the favorite beer styles in which Kazbek excels are Lager, Pale Ale, Wheat beer, and Belgian Ale.
