Waimea™ is a dual-purpose hop suitable for large and strong batches. Due to its high alpha acid content, Waimea works well as a bittering hop for big IPAs. The aroma and flavor of Waimea are pleasantly balanced, featuring fresh citrus and resinous pine. The aroma of mandarin, grapefruit, and pomelo can be achieved through dry hopping and whirlpool additions.
