Sorachi Ace was developed in Japan in 1984 for Sapporo Breweries, Ltd., and is a cross of the hops Brewer’s Gold, Saaz, and Beikei.
It is a favorite variety among craft brewers for its unique aroma of citrus fruits, herbs, and dill.
