LalBrew Abbaye™ is a Belgian-origin brewing yeast. LalBrew Abbaye™, selected for its ability to ferment Belgian-style beers from low to high alcohol content, produces the spiciness and fruitiness typical of Belgian and Trappist-style beers. When fermented at higher temperatures, it typically produces tropical, spicy, and banana flavors and aromas. At lower temperatures, LalBrew Abbaye™ yields darker fruity aromas and flavors reminiscent of raisins, dates, and figs. Traditional styles brewed with this yeast include, but are not limited to, Belgian White, Belgian Blonde, Belgian Golden, Dubbel, Tripel, and Quad.
