HBC 472 is an aromatic hop, ideal for additions during boiling and dry hopping. It has woody notes, oak barrel, whiskey, vanilla, cream, coconut, and orange.
It offers a medium-intensity hop aroma that complements darker malt flavors and beer styles such as Cream Ale, Amber Ale, Brown Ale, Porter, Stout, Pale Ale, and various IPAs.
