Simcoe, developed by Yakima Chief Ranches and introduced in 2000, is known for its versatility in brewing and unique aromatic properties.
It continues to grow in popularity, becoming one of the top ten varieties in craft and home brewing.
Simcoe delivers fruity and slightly earthy aromas with notes of grapefruit, passion fruit, pine, and berries. This variety is suitable for addition at any stage of brewing.
Beer styles: Pale Ale, IPA, Double IPA, Lager, Wild Ale, & Red Ale.
Cryo Hops® utilizes the most innovative technology in cryogenic processing, where whole leaf hops are separated into concentrated lupulin and steeped at extremely low temperatures to preserve essential oils and resins.
The result is enticing LupuLN2® hop pellets that double the hop potential by 40-50% compared to traditional hop pellets at the same weight. This produces enhanced hop flavor with juicy, resinous, and fruity characteristics, ideal for IPAs and beer styles.
Pelety Cryo Hops® are concentrated lupulin from whole leaf hops containing resins and aromatic oils. They are designed to ensure intense hop flavor and aroma. This allows breweries to effectively dose large amounts of alpha acids and oils without introducing bitter flavors or plant material. Cryo Hops® pellets can be used wherever whole leaf hops and traditional hop pellets are typically used.
