Hyperboost is a liquid hop extract designed to enhance hop aroma and increase beer yield, suitable for use in the whirlpool as well as during dry hopping.

Detailed information

Product detailed description

Hyperboost (formerly known as YCH 701 Trial) is a hop extract enriched with hop oils that is liquid at room temperature and produced using supercritical extraction of hop pellets with carbon dioxide (CO2). This innovative technique allows for the extraction of a pure extract with a high concentration of hop compounds. Hyperboost is designed to enhance the intensity of hop aroma while improving yield in beer production. It can be used both in the whirlpool and in dry hopping.

Hyperboost is made from individual hop varieties, ensuring that each batch delivers the characteristic aromatic properties of that variety. This extract can significantly amplify the aromatic profile of the finished beer. It contains 15–40% alpha acids, 6–15% beta acids, and over 40% total hop oil, making it a highly concentrated source of hop aroma.

Usage in the whirlpool: It is recommended to replace T-90 hop pellets at a ratio of 50 to 1 by weight. This means that 1 kg of T-90 pellets can be replaced with 20 grams of Hyperboost.

Usage in dry hopping: Here, a replacement ratio of 100 to 1 is recommended, meaning that 1 kg of T-90 pellets can be replaced with 10 grams of Hyperboost.

It is recommended to replace up to 100% of the hops added to the whirlpool with Hyperboost extract or to replace 25% to 50% of the hops in dry hopping. The remainder can be supplemented with T-90 pellets or Cryo Hops® Brand, known for their distinctive hop aroma.
