BEST A-XL is a delicious malt made from the traditional German barley variety Alexis. This malt provides beer with a rich malty flavor, full body, and a dazzling golden-yellow color. Its elevated free amino nitrogen (FAN) content is ideal for supporting yeast during fermentation. With balanced proteolytic and cytolytic properties, BEST A-XL has demonstrated up to 30% greater foam stability in beer compared to standard malts. Alexis barley malt is suitable for use up to 100% in malt mash recipes.
